Food grade conveyor belt, as the name implies, is a kind of conveyor belt which can transport food and food raw materials safely and pollution-free, and has no poison, no odor and smooth surface. At present, the main material of non-toxic food conveyor belt is pu (polyurethane). In addition to Pu, in the conveyor belt industry, there are PE (polyethylene), PVC (polyvinyl chloride), sir (silicone rubber), PTFE (Teflon).

Polyurethane is the abbreviation of polyurethane, which refers to the macromolecular compounds with repeated polyurethane groups in the main chain. It has the characteristics of wear resistance, temperature resistance, pollution-free, non-toxic and tasteless, resistance to a variety of acid and alkali (pH value between 5-9) and organic solution corrosion. PVC is a kind of polymer which is polymerized by vinyl chloride monomer in peroxide, azo compound and other initiators, or by free radical polymerization reaction mechanism under the action of light and heat. According to the requirements of new European standard, environmental protection PVC can not contain eight heavy metals and phthalic acid.
