In the 1940s, synchronous belt drive has been widely used in modern machinery industry because of its unique advantages. Do you know the difference between rubber synchronous belt and Pu synchronous belt?
1、 The difference between polyurethane synchronous belt and rubber synchronous belt
Rubber synchronous belt has dynamic bending, crack resistance, good performance, excellent ozone performance, aging resistance, heat resistance, oil resistance and wear resistance. Widely used in textile, automobile, chemical fiber, paper, printing, chemical machinery and equipment.
(1) Glass fiber tensile layer
The tensile layer of glass fiber is a rope composed of several glass fibers, which is spirally wound on the width of the band at the joint line of the belt, and has high strength, small elongation, corrosion resistance and good heat resistance.
(2) Nylon cloth layer
Nylon cloth layer is the friction resistance part of the protective belt, which should have excellent wear resistance and is composed of nylon cloth with small friction coefficient.
The water resistance, heat resistance and impact resistance of neoprene synchronous belt are better than polyurethane synchronous belt, and its transmission power range is large, especially in high-power transmission, polyurethane synchronous belt can not be compared. The operating temperature is usually -34 ℃ ~80 ℃.
Polyurethane synchronous belt is generally made of nylon wire (or steel wire, copper wire) as tensile body. Polyester is cast, which has the characteristics of oil resistance, impact resistance and beautiful appearance. Polyurethane synchronous belt is hard and wear-resistant, but guide rail is not as good as rubber synchronous belt.
(3) Neoprene tape teeth
The teeth are made of neoprene, which have high shear strength and hardness. It requires precise molding and precise distribution to properly engage the grooves of the pulley. The root of the teeth shall be maintained at the specified distance from the pitch line.
(4) Back of neoprene tape
The back of the neoprene tape firmly adheres the glass fiber to the asphalt line and plays a role in protecting the tensile material. In the case of belts, the back of the belt must be used to prevent damage caused by friction. It's not just polyurethane tape. The back has excellent water resistance and heat resistance.
2、 Synchronous belt material:
1. Rubber synchronous belt material: high quality synthetic neoprene + skeleton material, suitable for imported high-quality glass fiber rope + tooth surface with nylon 66 high elastic cloth + with various accessories for different purposes;
2. Polyurethane synchronous belt material / material: Polyurethane belt back + steel wire rope (or polyester rope) tensile layer + polyurethane belt teeth.
3、 Chemical properties
1, anti aging, waterproof solutions, anti UV UVA, ozone protection
2. Resistant to most acid and alkali corrosion
3. High oil and oil resistant esters
4. Operating temperature: 30 ° C to + 80 ° C can withstand up to +110 ° C in a short period of time
