Causes of belt deviation

1. The quality of the belt is not good

The conveyor belt of the machine is of poor quality, uneven force in the direction, and the quality problem of the belt results in inconsistent elongation under tension, resulting in belt deviation. Therefore, the equipment and conveyor belt must be checked and adjusted regularly.

2. Installation dislocation

If the center of the idler group is not right or the axis of the idler group is not perpendicular to the belt center line, the deviation direction of the belt is consistent with the inclination direction of the idler group. In order to prevent the deviation of the belt, the idler must be installed correctly.

3. Adjust the position of driving roller and steering roller

The adjustment of driving roller and steering roller is an important part of belt deviation adjustment. A belt conveyor has 2 to 5 rollers. The installation position of all rollers must be perpendicular to the center line of the belt conveyor's length direction. If the deviation is too large, it will inevitably lead to deviation.

4. The idler does not rotate, the roller surface is not round or the bearing is damaged

It can cause the belt to start partial deviation at the idler, and it can also cause the belt to deviate due to the uneven surface of the idler due to the adhesion of coal. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the inspection of the operation of the idler, strengthen the maintenance, often clean the surface, and replace the new idler if necessary.

5. Problems in belt bonding

The interface is not perpendicular to the belt center line, resulting in deviation at the joint.
