During transportation and storage, the rubber conveyor belt shall be kept clean, protected from direct sunlight, rain and snow, and contact with acid, alkali, oil, organic solvent and other substances that affect the rubber quality, and shall be 1 m away from the heating equipment.

The working speed of rubber conveyor belt should not be greater than 5.0 M / s, and the low speed should be selected as far as possible when transporting bulky and abrasive materials and using fixed plow type unloading equipment. When the speed exceeds the standard speed, the service life of the tape will be affected.

During storage, the rubber conveyor belt shall be placed in rolls and shall not be folded. During storage, it shall be turned over once a season.

In order to reduce the impact and wear of materials on the belt, the feeding direction should be along the working direction of the belt; the drop of materials falling on the belt should be minimized; the feeding port should be away from the top of the roller or idler; the distance between the idler and the belt receiving section should be shortened and the buffer method should be adopted. In order to prevent the belt from being scratched, the rubber plate with suitable hardness shall be selected for the contact part between the material retaining equipment, scraper cleaning equipment and unloading equipment and the belt, and the belt head with cloth layer shall not be selected.

The connection between the diameter of the driving roller and the cloth layer of the conveyor belt, the matching of the changing direction of the driving roller and the request for the groove angle of the idler should be reasonably selected according to the planning rules of the conveyor.

Prevent the belt from being blocked by frame, pillar or block material, and prevent it from cracking.

In the process of operation, the idlers should be prevented from being covered by the materials, resulting in ineffective rotation, and the leakage material should be prevented from being stuck between the drum and the belt. Pay attention to some lubrication, but the belt should not be contaminated.
